After applying some pressure you can pull the door knob towards you.

Locate the hole underneath the doorknob shaft. How to remove a door knob without screws or a latch. Straighten a paper clip and insert it into the hole. Slide the cosmetic faceplate away from the door.

With some pressure you can move the clip inside. Turn each screw holding the knob body to the door with a phillips. Depending on the door handle design the faceplate may be able to slide completely off. Once triggered the lever or lock trim can be removed from the door.

Some styles of door knob will have another thin slot that requires a small screwdriver to free the cover from the door. Apply a bit of pressure to the paper clip to trigger a release button inside the hardware. If not rotate the faceplate until the underlying screws are accessible and use a phillips head screwdriver to remove them. Take your flat philips screwdriver and place it in the gap.

Push the tip of a narrow screwdriver into the hole. The door handle will now slide off. If any screws are exposed during this process remove them to release the lock and remove it from the door. After you ve unscrewed or loosened the latch tug on the door knob until it pops out of place or disengages from the base also known as the rose.
