Hold a brown paper bag or an towel over the glue. Try just hot water first working it into the glue and washing it away. Hot glue is a highly effective adhesive that creates a lasting bond within one minute of drying to a surface. Just put the iron on the low setting no steam and be sure to keep moving it around so it doesn t scorch one area.

Begin by physically removing the hardened glue with a putty knife or similar dull edge. It is administered with a hot glue gun and is rather simple to manage when freshly applied. For working on concrete floors you can also try a long handle razor blade scraper. Immediately after ironing remove the newspapers and use a long handled scraper to get rid of the glue residue.
